HIMA was founded by Bernd Hieber and Ralf Maier in 1991. Since then, HIMA has grown continuously and has now developed into a medium-sized company with 30 employees and a state-of-the-art production facility. For us and our customers, these are optimal general conditions.

1991: Bernd Hieber and Ralf Maier found HIMA - the Hieber Maier GmbH Metallbearbeitung.
1993: A new hall is moved into. The focus is on the production of rolling dies.
1998: Demand grows and with it the production hall. The first 600 m² of space at the current location are occupied.
2002: The production area is enlarged by another 400 m².
2005: HIMA is certified according to ISO 9001.
2012: Bernd Hieber takes over the company as sole managing partner.
2014: HIMA receives the environmental certification EMAS and is enlarged again: The production area is expanded to a total of 1600 m². A new administration building with 240 m² is added.
2015: A new ERP system is implemented.
2018: HIMA receives the EJOT supplier award.
2019: Yannik Hieber is appointed as an additional managing director.
2021: HIMA celebrates its 30th anniversary and expands its production area by another 1000 m² with a new extension.
