Product category: Seamless tubes made of stainless steel

Alloy 6Mo

Alloy Designation: (UNS S31254)
Specifications: ASTM A269, ASTM A213
Typical Size Ranges: OD (.02”–1.00”)
Available Product Forms: Annealed to Full Hard, in Coiled or Straight form
General Description and Applications: This austenitic stainless steel alloy contains 6% molybde-num by weight as well as nitrogen, which greatly increases corrosion resistance, especially to pitting corrosion. With great immunity to the corrosive effects of chloride ions, 6Mo is able to withstand harsh marine environments and is commonly used in water desalination equipment, paper mills, chemical processing, and the oil and gas industry.

Alloy 304

Alloy Designation: (UNS S30403)
Specifications: ASTM A269 / ASTM A213 EAW
Typical Size Ranges: OD (.02”–1.00”)
Available Product Forms: Annealed to Full Hard, in Coiled or Straight form
General Description and Applications: Stainless steel 304 is the most basic variety of austenitic stainless steel. It is ductile, has high corrosion resistance, and has relatively high tensile strength. Alloy 304 is com-monly used in the beverage, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas industries. HandyTube’s 304 alloy is a low carbon variant, which makes the metal less prone to sensitization during the annealing process.

Alloy I600

Alloy Designation: (UNS N06600)
Specifications: ASTM B167, B163
Typical Size Ranges: OD (.02”–1.00”)
Available Product Forms: Annealed to Full Hard, in Coiled or Straight form
General Description and Applications: I600 is a nickel based alloy known for it’s ductility, ability to be used in cryogenic temperatures as well as temperatures up to 2000 degrees fahrenheit, and it’s corrosion resistance to a wide variety of compounds. The alloy is typically used in heat exchangers, thermocouples and instrumentation/control applications. HandyTube produces Alloy 600 small diameter tubing in long seamless coils minimizing joints, reducing installation time and the number of welds required in long tubing runs. Also available in straight length form.

About us

Company details

Your Tubing Solutions Partner HandyTube Corporation, is a premium manufacturer of seamless stainless-steel & nickel alloys for coil and straight-length tubing in diverse industries worldwide with short lead times, custom OD/Wall, finishes, and customer service. Our seamless tubing is available in both coils and straights in numerous high-performing, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and nickel alloys including many 300 Series alloys, 904L, Alloy C276, Alloy 22, Alloy 400, MP35N, Alloy 825, Alloy 600, Alloy 625, including 6Mo. To minimize the risk of cross-contamination and save our customers time, we developed our proprietary Chroma Clean ID™ cleaning process, which removes manufacturing lubricants and other contaminants from the tubing interior. In addition, our Chromat ID™ drawing process provides ID support during the manufacturing process, creating smoother, consistently uniform ID surface characteristics. To ensure no defect goes undetected, our coils are 100% hydrostatically testeda proven reliable and consistent method compared to some non-destructive test methods. We also perform a 100% Positive Material Identification on all finished product, guaranteeing the material meets all customer requirements. Mechanical tests are conducted on-site to provide our customers with an expeditious and flexible delivery schedule. All of our tubing is manufactured to a fully documented quality system that exceeds ISO 9001 certification requirements. For more information visit www.handytube.com or visit booth #4F27
