Grinding quills

To achieve perfect results you need grinding quills of exceptional quality.

Håmex has produced and supplied the finest grinding quills for more than 40 years. Our reputation for quality and reliability ensures that we still supply to the worlds leading manufacturers of fuel injection systems. The grinding quills that we manufacture are mostly adapted for machine types such as KMT, Bahmüller, Voumard, Studer etc.

In the past a grinding quill was simply a tool extension, usually in steel, with modest requirements of precision. Accuracy depended solely on the operative involved. Nowadays, a quill is a vital component in the grinding process. An optimal grade of tungsten carbide and minimal tolerances on run-outs and roundness are factors that are most important for a high quality grinding quill.
