February 2015 | Dynamic concepts for collision-free pipe bending

,

www.wire-tradefair.com cordially welcomes you with current news from the wire and cable branch!

"It’s make or break" is a figure of speech where some mechanical engineers react with mixed emotions. Where the first part of this half sentence can be the cause for happy nodding, the second part can lead to a phantomlike painful wincing.

However, there are companies, which use sophisticated bending concepts against the breaking and thus ensure that more efficient economising is made possible. The company Transfluid Maschinenbau GmbH, for example, offers dynamic concepts for collision-free pipe bending.

Dynamic concepts for collision-free pipe bending

Photos Topic of the Month

Increasingly frequently, pipe bending depends on the use of the correct bending technology to ensure good results. Because demanding requirements with regards to the installation space and system positioning can restrict the ideal processing of pipes.

In many such cases, neither a right nor a left bending machine can produce the desired geometry collision-free. Therefore, a solution for the maximum bending freedom is required. Transfluid Maschinenbau GmbH has designed effective technologies for this in their machine category 't bend', which offer two effective right/left bending concepts for various pipe diameters.

Pieces from the exhibition
Names of film directors such as Roberto Rossellini, Luchino Visconti, Federico Fellini and Vittorio De Sica characterised Italian neo-realism in the area of film. The Italian cultural movement, however, was also reflected in photography. This is shown in an exhibition at NRW Forum Düsseldorf with photographs by amateurs and professionals from the period from 1932 to 1960. They show reality, photographs off the beaten path of Bella Italia.
