,

After four years without their leading trade fairs, the professional world will finally meet again live and on site in Düsseldorf to exchange information about innovations from the wire, cable and tube industries. The new trade fair date from 20 to 24 June 2022 promises the greatest possible planning security for exhibitors and significantly better travel conditions for trade visitors from all over the world.

Düsseldorf's leading world trade fairs profit from declining pandemic situation.

For this reason, we wish to provide you with travelling and incoming travel information from the current guidelines by AUMA (the Association of the Gerrman Trade Fair Industry).

We are looking forward to your visit in June!

Travelling to Germany

Exhibitors and visitors of trade fairs can travel to Germany

Messe Düsseldorf
Generally speaking, trade fair participants from abroad can travel to Germany. The Federal Government of Germany no longer qualifies any country as a high-risk corona zone, meaning that all previous quarantine and registration obligations following entry to the country have also been dispensed with for trade fair visitors and trade fair participants. However, the 2G rule may apply, dependent on the trade fair, which means that only persons who have been vaccinated with COVID vaccines which have been approved in Germany or recovered persons may access the trade fair premises in certain cases.

Accomodation and travel in Germany

Hotels, trains and busses

Arriving with tram
Currently hotels are open to exhibitors and visitors to trade fairs, if they are vaccinated or recovered. In some German federal states business travelers unlike tourists may also stay in hotels when unvaccinated with a proof of a negative test. In some federal states vaccinated travelers must also provide a negative test in addition, unless they have received a third booster shot. To be on the safe side trade fair guests should doublecheck with their hotel before departure, which rules apply.
