NIEHOFF revolutionized the efficiency of wire annealing

Recrystallization process significantly improved

NIEHOFF is a pioneer in non-ferrous wire drawing and annealing technology. The company's latest advancement is its patented High Efficiency Annealing Technology (HEAT), used in continuous resistance annealers for RBD lines. This process involves longer annealing times at lower temperatures. HEAT eliminates counteracting energies, enabling up to 33% energy savings vs conventional annealers.

HEAT produces the best surface quality for annealed wires, which is especially important for enameled wires. HEAT-annealed wires have higher elongation values and are free from oxidation.

In aluminum wire annealing, lower temperatures allow for a greater distance between the recrystallization temperature and the melting point. This makes the process more stable and reduces sparking. An RBD line annealer with HEAT can operate continuously at higher speeds, resulting in significant energy savings, lower compressed air consumption, and reduced CO2 emissions, as well as significantly lower costs.
