Nexans will host its first fire safety cable conference in Brussels on 23 October 2014. The conference, entitled “A clear view on fire safety cables: Addressing the challenges of materials, legislation and liability”, will gather industry experts, specifiers and academics to discuss recent developments in the industry amongst many other topics.

Nexans specialists and other recognized experts will present on various issues affecting the fire safety cable industry, including the new legislation in the European Union and its implications for Belgium, trends in fire safety cable materials as well as liability. Presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion with all attendees.

“At present the fire safety cable industry is in a state of change after the introduction of new regulation by the European Commission and Belgian government respectively. The conference will take place on the 23rd of October 2014 and will be hosted at the Diamant conference centre in Brussels, Belgium.
