PM 02/ wire 2014 and Tube 2014 already well booked:

Closing date for exhibitor registrations for both trade fairs is end of April.

Around one year before the international No. 1 trade fairs wire and Tube get under way one thing is certain: both industrial fairs are already well booked, the official deadline for registrations for 2014 closes at the end of April.

By that time interested previous exhibitors should register with the wire (niemannh@messe-duesseldorf.de) and Tube (liedtkem@messe-duesseldorf.de) project departments as the layout planning for the halls will begin from May.

For 2014 good exhibitor figures and booked space levels similar to 2012 are expected. At wire two years ago 1,313 companies presented their technical highlights from the wire and cable industry sectors in net exhibition space of 57,370 square metres.

1,178 exhibitors showed innovations covering all aspects of pipe and pipeline systems in space of around 48,500 square metres at Tube 2012.

Traditionally, the wire, cable and glass fibre machines along with the wire and cable production and retail sectors present themselves in exhibition Halls 9 to 12, 17 and parts of Hall 16. The spring-making sector is also located in Hall 16 with the adjacent forming technology sector in Hall 15.

Tube is presenting pipe and tube accessories in Hall 1 and in Hall 2 a large Chinese contingent is present, while Halls 3, 4 and 7.0 are showing the pipe production and pipe retail sectors.

Forming technology for hollow materials is being shown in Hall 5, pipe-processing machines along with the major areas of welding, cutting and surface technology follow in neighbouring Hall 6. Machinery and plant for pipe production is located in Hall 7a and parts of Hall 6, while the Plastic Tube Forum special show is being held in the adjacent Hall 7.1.
