Fastener Technology goes international
From 2017 with its own special show at wire Southeast Asia in Thailand
Fastener technology plays an indispensable role in nearly all industrial processes. After all, it is vital to create a compact bond between elements, using the right kind of wire, whether it’s blank, copper-plated, zinc-plated, tin-plated or enamelled.
For many years the steadily growing domain of fastener technology has had its own hall in Düsseldorf. At wire 2016 a large number of national and international companies in fastener technology presented themselves in Hall 15, where occupied 3,300 square metres.
The international satellites of wire in China and Southeast Asia have now followed suit. This year, in September, wire China celebrated the première of its own special fastener technology show, at the Fastener Shanghai Special Zone. 180 companies presented themselves on a net space of 2,386 square metres, meeting a growing amount of interest in Chinese industry. The special show received professional support from China Fastener Info, China’s leading technical publication and trade fair organiser in this segment.
For the first time Thailand, too, will have its own special Fastener Technology show at wire Southeast Asia in 2017. From 19 to 21 September 2017 numerous fastener technology companies will be represented in Bangkok, Thailand.
Every two years Düsseldorf becomes the international hotspot of the wire, cable and tube industries, attracting around 2,500 exhibitors to two trade fairs: wire and Tube. wire Düsseldorf 2016 featured around 1,300 companies from 51 countries, presenting machinery for the production and finishing of wire, tools and auxiliary materials in process engineering as well as materials, special wires and cables. The trade also covered innovations in measurement and control engineering, test engineering and a range of special areas.
