Durable, well insulated, robust and easy to bend
At the heart of the new product are durable PE-Xa service pipes in proven quality. The formulation of the fine-pored PUR foam has been newly developed and is characterized by an excellent insulating effect and high bending elasticity.
The geometry of the outer pipe jacket cleverly combines safety and flexibility: U-shaped corrugations with wide contact surfaces and high wall thickness make the pipe extremely robust for use on construction sites. In combination with the V-shaped corrugated valleys, it is noticeably easier to bend. The all-round welded longitudinal water barrier offers maximum protection against moisture penetration of the pipe insulation, even in the event of partial damage to the outer casing.

For installers, the new pipe saves time, energy and costs, as the improved flexibility means that less force is required for bending and the pipe can be installed more quickly. The optimized design also allows the pipes to be coiled more compactly. The new standard coils with a reduced outer diameter of 2.40 m can be transported economically using standard trucks.
RAUVIPEX is the new backbone of the overall REHAU system. The pipes are connected using the sliding sleeve press system without O-rings and without weld seams. With the CLIP-FLEX sleeve and the universal shrink sleeve, they can be re-insulated safely and easily. All components are tested and certified.
