The steel division of Nordwest Handel AG was reorganized. Dirk Held was appointed as the new division manager for the steel division in order to strengthen the operational business. In parallel to imports, sales and European business are to be further expanded.
Dirk Held, who previously worked in sales at Nordwest Handel AG, is now the contact person for the steel pipes, stainless steel/stainless steel and aluminum product segments. As division manager, he is responsible for their sales expansion, and he also further develops the import business and the associated international sourcing.
Dirk Held will continue to provide specialist retail partners with interesting delivery options, good conditions and new potential. He has been with Nordwest for over six years and is a recognized industry expert with almost 25 years of experience in the steel trade. During his time at the Dortmund affiliated company, Dirk Held successfully expanded the strategic focus of the import division. At the same time, the European business also grew.
