E.ON has signed an agreement to sell its Czech subsidiary Gas Distribution to GasNet. Gas Distribution operates the gas distribution network in southern Bohemia and parts of the Vysočina region. GasNet is a company of the ČEZ Group. The transaction is subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Gas Distribution operates a regional network of 4,600 km of gas pipelines with a total of 111,000 customer connections, employs around 120 people, and distributed a total of 2.8 TWh of gas in 2024. GasNet manages a network of 65,000 km and has more than 2,200 employees. It supplies around 2.2 million customer connections and distributed more than 59 TWh of gas in 2024.
