ECOVADIS PLATINUM MEDAL FOR OUR ADVANCED SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT

Aratubo has won the EcoVadis Platinum medal for our commitment to sustainability and thus we join the 1% of the companies qualified by EcoVadis with the top score in the iron and steel industry.

Our ongoing commitment to sustainability has been acknowledged with the EcoVadis Platinum medal, the highest classification that only 1% of companies in the sector have achieved. After gaining the silver medal, it took us just 12 months to move up to Platinum, which bears witness to our commitment to the environment, social development and ethical economic growth.

EcoVadis, internationally recognised in sustainability certification, evaluated 21 aspects grouped into 4 sections:

• Environmental impact
• Working practices and human rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable purchasing
• Obtaining the EcoVadis Platinum medal validates our sustainability strategy and demonstrates our comprehensive focus on tackling the challenges we face in this area.

For Aratubo, sustainability is an ongoing objective based on our corporate commitments and transferred to our processes, actions and results.

The EcoVadis Platinum medal is yet another incentive to continue working for a more sustainable future, assuming a shared responsibility in all aspects related to sustainability.
