To get to the exhibition centre, take tram no. U78 MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord or U79 Messe Ost (Exit at MesseOst/Stockumer Kirchstr.) or bus no. 722 (Exit at Messe Ost or Messe Süd/CCD).

There are two major transport hubs where you are likely to change: Hauptbahnhof (central station) and Heinrich-Heine-Allee. Nearly all destinations in and around Düsseldorf can be reached from these stations.

During trade fair Rheinbahn provides an additional airport shuttle bus (no. 896).

• With the 24-hour ticket, individuals or groups of up to 5 people are mobile for 24 hours (Please select the English language at the top right of the page). 
• More online tickets are available in the Rheinbahn online store, display them on your cell phone, or print them out.
• There are ticket machines in the city trains and streetcars as well as at all subway stations and larger stops.
• One-way tickets and day tickets are also available from bus drivers. Please have the appropriate small change ready, as large bills cannot be exchanged.
• Would you like personal advice? You can buy tickets at Rheinbahn customer centers and at many kiosks, stationery stores, tobacconists or Lotto-Toto shops.

With the Deutsche Bahn Event Ticket, you can travel to our events from all stations within Germany at a fixed price. The onward journey from the station to the exhibition grounds is included in the ticket. Information on the event ticket and the booking link can be found here: Event Ticket

The A44 motorway goes directly past the exhibition centre.
Leave at Junction 29, "Messe/Arena" and head for the two large car parks, P1 and P2. A free shuttle bus takes you directly to the entrances.

Free shuttle buses are available from the car parks to the trade fair entrances.

The Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre can be reached from Cologne within about 1 hour and from Dortmund and Aachen within about an hour and a quarter.

The exhibition centre can also be reached from neighbouring Neuss, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach and Moers in 30 minutes.

If you are a visitor arriving by e-vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at almost all of our parking lots during your visit to the trade fair. A total of 19 charging points are available at six locations on our grounds. For the exact locations of the charging stations and the technical details, please refer to our site plan and our technical data sheet.

Flexible and sustainable travel to Messe Düsseldorf

Visitors to Messe Düsseldorf have several sharing options available for comfortable and environmentally friendly travel. The “Lohauser Deich I” sharing station has been expanded, providing additional capacity for bicycles and e-scooters on site. This makes it quick and easy to cover the last stretch between the exhibition grounds, hotel, or stops.

To make the most of the various sharing services, CMD recommends the Rheinbahn's “redy” mobility app. The app bundles the offers of the most important local providers – including lime, dott, voi and nextbike – and allows easy booking via a single application.

Around 1,400 cabs in Düsseldorf offer safe and comfortable rides. There are around 150 cab stops in the city, and it is also possible to order by phone, cab app or web app.

Trips to/from Düsseldorf Airport to/from all entrances of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre are subject to the same special rate, both day and night 25,00 €

Use the transfer shuttle A44 motorway, Junction 29, “Messe/Arena” to the HGV Parking Area P1, Field 5, North. The HGV Parking Area P1, Field 5, North, is intended as a resting place and for registration under the HGV traffic control system.

The daily parking fee is 30.- € per empty HGV or trailer.

Any HGVs wider than 3.00 metres must be announced in writing, in good time and no later than 48 hours prior to arrival. Please write to Schwertransport@messe-duesseldorf.de.

For trade fair visitors arriving with their caravan or motorhome, we offer a Caravan Center on our trade fair parking lot P1, which can be used during events.
Overnight stays are only permitted with a valid event admission ticket.
A separate section is available for showers, toilets and waste disposal. Access to the facilities can be gained via a code lock.

Messe Düsseldorf is easily accessible on a regional, national, and international level.

From Cologne, the exhibition center can be reached in approximately 60 minutes; from Dortmund and Aachen, the travel time is around 75 minutes.

From nearby cities such as Neuss, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, and Moers, the journey typically takes up to 30 minutes.

The A44 motorway runs directly alongside the exhibition grounds, providing fast and convenient access.
