Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group completes acquisition of BENTELER Distribution

Benteler Distribution provides Van Leeuwen access to additional key markets in Europe

Following its press release on 27 August 2019, the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group announces that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Benteler Distribution, a division of Benteler International AG.

All necessary approvals from relevant regulatory authorities have been received for the closing of the transaction. Adding Benteler Distribution to the Van Leeuwen network provides Van Leeuwen access to additional key markets in Europe, and improves its position as a leading distributor of pipe and tube materials in Europe. The integration of the companies of Benteler Distribution within the Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group starts as of December 2019.
