Windak Rewind lines have been specifically designed for fast reel changes, very accurate tension control, high line speed and superior winding quality. The rewind lines can be built with many different configurations based on our complete Payoff and Take-up range, either tire driven design or conventional drive pin design.

Configurations

Efficient rewinding require machines with short set up time and an efficient flow of handling the full and empty reels. Windak' s complete Payoff and Take-up range can be used in many different combinations to create the optimal rewind line for your need. We have a number of standard line configurations that we offer and thereafter the line can be customized for your exact requirements. We offer many types of integration in your line such as test equipment, printing, and other types auxiliary equipment.

RW60 (ReWind60) is designed for semi-or automatic cutting of power cables up to 60 mm (2.5") with maximum line speed 150m/min (492ft/min). It includes a tire feeder capstan, length counter, hydraulic cutter, easy "drop in cable" thread up and one step adjustment of all guide rollers. It also includes the touch screen operator interface to run the rewind line.

Semi- or automatic cutting of cables 5mm to 120mm

Windak ReWind stations are designed for accurate measurement and safe cutting of cable in rewind line applications. There are three different models for up to max 120 mm cable diameter. All ReWind stations include a belt type length counter, guide rollers and hydraulic cutter. RW60 can also be provided with an optional tire feeder capstan. One of the main purposes with the ReWind station is to provide a safe working environment for the operator. The cable cutter is fully enclosed and the cable cut cannot be done unless the safety cover is closed. Each rewind station can be equipped with an optional touch screen operator panel for rewind line control.

The Auto Reeler A18 is a dual head fully automatic reeler developed for automatic packaging of cable and wire products on reels between 216-460 mm (8.5”-18”) in overall diameter. It can be run both, in line (with an extruder) and off line (with a driven Payoff or Flyer) and loads and unloads the reels automatically. Includes stretch wrapping of the reel to contain the cut end.

The Auto Reeler AR24 is a single or dual head fully automatic reeler developed for automatic packaging of cable and wire products on reels between 298-609mm (12"-24") in overall diameter. It can be run both in line application (direct connection with Extruder) and off line applications (AR24 is fed from Payoff/Flyer) and loads and unloads the reels automatically. AR24 includes stretch wrapping of the reel to contain the cut end.

Palletizing Solutions for Spools, Coils and Boxes

Windak palletizers are of simple and efficient design. They are primarily designed as the packaging unit for our automatic spooling and coiling machines. Together they make a complete solution for packaging spools and coils onto pallets. They can also be sold as separate individual units, not only to Windak products but to your existing equipment.

Palletizers Models

SP18 - Spool Diameter 200-450mm: The Spool Palletizer automatically stacks spools from 200-450mm (8"-18") in diameter onto pallets. Maximum spool weight 100kg (220lbs).

Options: Spool labeling, Cardboard sheet infeed, Pallet accumulator.

Feature: Reject station for defective spools.

SP24 - Spool Diameter 300-600mm: The Spool/Reel Palletizer automatically stacks reels from 300-600mm (12"-24") in diameter onto pallets. Maximum reel weight 250kg (550lbs).

Options: Spool labeling, Cardboard sheet infeed, Pallet accumulator.

Feature: Reject station for the defective spools.

CP5 - Coil Diameter 220-480mm: The Coil Palletizer automatically stacks coils up to 220-480mm (8.50"-19") in diameter onto pallets. Coil width 35-300mm (1.5"-12"). Maximum coil weight 40kg (88lbs).

GP5 - Coil Diameter 180-500mm and Spool Diameter 180-400mm: The Spool and Coil Palletizer automatically stacks spools up to 180-400mm (7"-15") and coils up to 180-500mm (7"-19") onto pallets. Maximum spool and coil weight 100kg (220lbs). Maximum stacking height with pallet 47" (1200mm).

GP6 - Box weight 18-23kg: The GP6 is designed as in line or off line stand alone carton palletizing solution. If it is off line machine the operator manually places the packed cartons on the rotation plate. From that point the machine operates automatically as follows: rotates the carton if needed,
