Meisenbach Publishing was founded in Bamberg in 1922 and was initially known as the Keramos Verlagsanstalt AG. In 1923 the enterprise was taken over by the Meisenbach family who has owned it ever since. Today, Meisenbach publishes nine specialist magazines, also producing several catalogues for exhibition organisers.

The specialist magazines

Meisenbach's portfolio comprises four titles that address specialists and managers in the metal-processing and metal-working industry. "DRAHT", "UMFORMTECHNIK" and "BLECH ROHRE PROFILE" focus on the German-speaking countries of the world, whilst the fourth publication, the specialist title "WIRE", is directed at an international readership. The metal-working titles are rounded off by the scientific series "UTF Science" which appears solely on the internet.

The readership of Meisenbach's four consumer goods titles "Baby&Junior", "style <14", "das spielzeug" and "stil & markt" is composed of buyers and decision makers in the trade. Besides information on the latest trends, product innovations and an abundance of hands-on advice about the day-to-day running of a business, these four magazines mirror and comment on the markets they cover. These four publications also offer a rounded internet presentation entitled "Handelsmagazine News".

"textile network" is Meisenbach's newest edition. The magazine which emerged from the amalgamation of the three textile titles "Maschen-Industrie", "TexDecor" and "BW fashion technics" covers the entire textile supply chain, from the fibre to the machine on which it is subsequently woven. Appearing in an English and a German edition "textile network" is distributed throughout the world.

The Catalogues

Meisenbach Publishing also creates the official catalogues for the fair "Kind & Jugend" in Cologne. This portfolio is rounded off by the catalogues for three regional children's fashion events - "KOMM" in Wallau and "Kids Affair" and "Kids Affair Festiv" in Neuss - and the regional fair "Flair" (for the sectors living and gifts) in Wallau.
