A commercially pure nickel alloy possessing good corrosion resistance and relatively low electrical resistivity. (Used in a wide variety of applications including food handling equipment, magnetically actuated parts, sonar devices, and electrical and electronic leads.)

Nimonic 80A is a wrought, age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy, strengthened by additions of titanium, aluminum and carbon, developed for service at temperatures up to 815°C (1500°F). currently used for gas turbine components (blades, rings and discs), bolts, nuclear boiler tube supports, die casting inserts and cores, and for automobile exhaust valves.

Monel 400 is a copper-nickel alloy that is resistant to seawater corrosion as well as to a variety of acids and other corrosive media. It is widely used in marine applications, because of its good corrosion resistance it is also used in chemical plant equipment
